DAY 3 FASTING AND PRAYER
Father, Help Me Not to Be Focused on Your Works and Miss Your Ways
“He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel.” — Psalm 103:7
Prayer Point 1: Lord, Let Me Know Your Ways And Not Just Your Works
Scripture References:
Psalm 103:7
Proverbs 25:2 – “It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings.”
Prayer Focus:
Father, I refuse to be content with just seeking your miracles and breakthroughs while remaining blind to your heart and intentions. Just as Moses knew your ways while Israel only saw your acts, I ask for a deeper walk with you. Help me by your Spirit to understand your patterns, principles, and divine intentions.
🛐 Prayer Declaration:
Father, open my eyes to your ways. Let me not be blinded by temporary victories or challenges. Help me seek your heart beyond your hand. I choose to walk in intimacy with you. Give me the grace to pursue your will even when it costs me everything. I declare that I will not be a shallow Christian — I will know your ways.
Prayer Point 2: Father, Let Me Focus Your Purpose, Not Present Loss or Sacrifice
Scripture References:
Mark 10:29-30 – “No one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me... will fail to receive a hundred times as much...”
Prayer Focus:
Sometimes in following Christ, we experience loss — of comfort, relationships, opportunities. But God always has a greater purpose. We pray to stay aligned with His vision, not our situation.
🛐 Prayer Declaration:
Father, I choose to focus on your divine plan rather than the pain or sacrifice of now. I know what you’re building in me is eternal and glorious. Strengthen me to endure and obey. Even when I don’t see the full picture, I will trust your process and follow your ways.
Prayer Point 3: Lord, Let Me Hold On to You, Even When Others Walk Away
Scripture Reference:
John 6:68 – “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.”
Prayer Focus:
There are times when people walk away from Jesus because of offense, pressure, or worldly desires. We pray for unwavering devotion, even when Christ's path is hard.
🛐 Prayer Declaration:
Father, like the disciples who remained, I choose you above all else. When others chase bread, comfort, or other options, let my heart be fixed on your Word and your presence. Keep me faithful when it's unpopular to stand with you. I declare — I have no other source but you, Jesus!
Prayer Point 4: Give Us Wisdom to Discern What You Are Doing in This Season
Scripture Reference:
1 Chronicles 12:32 – “...the sons of Issachar who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do...”
Prayer Focus:
We can miss divine opportunities if we interpret our seasons incorrectly. We are praying for divine perception and prophetic accuracy.
🛐 Prayer Declaration:
Lord, give me wisdom to discern what you are doing in this season of my life. Let me not be blinded by my own expectations or disappointments. Help me to act in obedience, speak your word in season, and move in alignment with your current agenda. I declare I will not miss my moment of visitation!
Final Blessing:
May the Lord grant you eyes that see, ears that hear, and a heart that understands His ways. May you walk in deep intimacy with Him, never content with the outer courts but always drawing near to Him In Jesus’ name, Amen.
