Dreams of Going Back To The Village
The best way to teach on dreams of your foundational home is to first understand that a “foundational home” means foundation. It represents a foundational area of your life. You also need to pay attention to what happened in that house specifically.
Some people don’t necessarily dream of the house where they were born, but they dream of a specific house where something significant happened in their life. The key to every dream of going back to the village, the house you grew up in, or a foundational home, is that something was established in that place.
In the Bible, in Ezekiel 16:3–4, the Lord says to Jerusalem:
“Thy birth and thy nativity is the land of Canaan… As for thy nativity, in the day that thou wast born, thy navel was not cut, neither wast thou washed in water to supple thee; thou wast not salted at all, nor swaddled at all.”
God was showing that the reason Israel behaved the way it did was because they were still connected to their nativity—their foundation. Similarly, whenever you see yourself going back to your foundational home in a dream, it means there is still something foundational that you are connected to, affecting your life, both positively and negatively. In many instances, it reflects spiritual or demonic issues that may be causing you to lose opportunities or face challenges.
Understanding the Location in the Dream
Back of the house: Represents past issues or situations.
Front of the house: Indicates future challenges or attacks.
Kitchen: Symbolizes finances or provision.
Living room: Reflects family relationships and interactions; often points to family battles or conflict.
Bedroom: Represents marriage or intimate relationships.
Outside the house: Shows how people perceive you.
Pay close attention to details in the dream: So, the details do matter when interpreting dreams of your foundational home. That’s why, when I was speaking about the kitchen, I spoke about provision, and when I spoke about the living room, I spoke about relationships.
Many people quickly conclude that just because they had a dream of going back to a foundational home, it automatically means there is an attack on all areas of life. But that is not true. It could specifically relate to marriage, finances, or conflicts in your relationships.
The key is the details. When you understand the details, you understand what God is saying to you. Pay close attention to every dream of going back to a foundational home that you have. Look carefully at every detail: Was there a specific animal? Was there a specific attack? What was really happening?
How to Pray About Foundational Home Dreams
Dreams of foundational homes show areas that need to be addressed. You don’t pray against the dream—you pray to receive revelation.
Prayer of Revelation: Ask God:
“Father, what area of my life is this dream reflecting? What strategy should I take to overcome it?”
Prayer to Deal With What Is Revealed: After understanding the dream, pray to break patterns, generational strongholds, or spiritual systems affecting that area of your life.
Prayer of Thanksgiving: Thank God for the revelation and for the breakthrough He will bring.
Conclusion
Dreams of foundational homes reveal generational battles, unresolved issues, and areas that need spiritual attention. Pay attention to the location, details, and events in your dream. Use focused prayer to receive revelation, deal with what is revealed, and give thanks for God’s guidance.
When interpreted correctly, these dreams help you understand your foundation, break free from spiritual hindrances, and step into the fullness of God’s plan for your life. [More Blogs On This Dealing With Generational Curses ]
